Mnet’s “Road To Kingdom” Already Accused Of Evil Editing And Disrespect Towards Groups

Mnet is already being accused of “evil-editing” and “disrespecting” teams in the first episode of Road To Kingdom: Ace of Ace.

It seemed like Mnet was ready to start “chaos” from the start.

As the teams entered, they received a card showing the ranking they received from the other groups. YOUNITE‘s Eunsang picked up the card and was unsurprisingly “Upset” after seeing that they’d ranked last.

After seeing the result, Mnet tried to build on Eunsang’s character, showing him as being annoyed and not willing to be friendly with the other teams due to the ranking.

Even when the leaders were shaking hands, they showed Eunsang not being willing to do it, linking to the last place ranking.

Netizens quickly noticed what was going on.

As one of the most veteran groups on the show, netizens had high hopes for the group, and it was seemingly on the show as they were ranked second for pre-evaluation by their fellow groups and first place for pre-voting by fans.

Yet, when it came to picking the “ACE” and Hyeongjun did an amazing performance…

Mnet edited it so that the other idols were seen criticizing Hyeongjun, sharing that they were disappointed by his performance.

When it came to the first final results, being excluded from the group stage meant that CRAVITY came in last place, despite being the second oldest and most experienced group (after ONEUS).

When it became a hot topic on Reddit, as an OP shared their anger for CRAVITY’s treatment, netizens were quick to remind them that Mnet is known for evil editing and that the sob stories can be frustrating but is something often done, especially to those idols with more exposure.
