ARMYs Call Out Author For Allegedly Vilifying BTS’s Jimin
An author is under fire for “vilifying” BTS‘s Jimin.
The author in question is Emma Emonds (also known as Akimasaaa on Wattpad).
The controversy started when Emonds published Oceans via Wattpad. It’s a BTS fanfiction, but focused on “Taekook,” the ship name for V and Jungkook. ARMYs aren’t satisfied with this response, considering Emonds included “Taekook” as a hashtag on a recent TikTok promoting the book.
Additionally, Emonds used images of the BTS members for their mood board, again advertising the book. ARMYs are calling out the author for capitalizing off their image while promoting their story.
Many ARMYs are continuing to report Emonds.

The damage is done and we don’t settle at her deleting that sick fic from Wattpad – keep reporting on copyright infringement to hybe/bighit and report all her social media accounts.

She did change the names of characters in the book version to avoid legal risks but everything else is the same. There is mood board with members images and she made reference to her original wattpad story, taekook etc on all her social media accounts.
