5th Gen Girl Group’s Stylist Hit With Backlash For “Diaper” Fashion
MADEIN‘s latest outfits are not everyone’s cup of tea.
Netizens took issue with the outfits worn by the members and their revealing nature.

Additionally, the “childish” vibe of the clothing (frills and other accessories typically seen on baby clothes), combined with revealing articles of clothing, didn’t sit well with many.
Yeseo‘s outfit in particular featured a short frilly skirt and a crop top. One netizen posted the outfit stating, “It feels a bit like the first time I saw the ILLIT diaper fit.”
Previously, ILLIT’s stylists were embroiled in controversy for giving the members safety shorts that resembled diapers.
The outfits for MADEIN were met with backlash from netizens for similar reasons: The clothes not only felt juvenile, they just weren’t flattering.
- “Is this what the director meant by ‘ILLIT-core’? Lol”
- “You couldn’t make a male idol where this.”
- “I don’t understand why they wear it when it’s not even pretty.”
- “I wonder why they chose MADEIN—I think it would be better to just go with Kep1er instead of MADEIN.”
The style is definitely not for everyone, but as long as the members feel comfortable, that is what matters the most.
