On September 26, KST, JoongAng Ilbo published an exclusive interview with Min, where she talked in detail about the current situation of her feud with HYBE. She made some damning claims, including that her termination from ADOR was unfair and that HYBE had even offered her money to leave.

When asked about NewJeans’ career plans, Min Hee Jin gave a concerning picture of the reality. The former ADOR CEO said that all plans she had set to motion for the group had been severely disrupted by this feud. At this moment, the group’s next album has been put on hold, and the surprise fanmeeting she was planning for Korean fans has also come to an abrupt halt.

While preparing a surprise fan meeting for Korean fans, I was dismissed. Vice presidents were also removed suddenly and blocked from carrying out their duties. The next album’s production has been halted. This is all truly unfortunate. It is also a part of HYBE’s interference with NewJeans’ activities.

The news has upset netizens, possibly souring HYBE’s public image even more. What angered them further was that articles talking about this issue seemed to have been blocked on sites soon after online community posts started to go viral.
