MONSTA X's Minhyuk Refuses To Strip Despite His Impressive Physique

MONSTA X‘s Minhyuk was officially discharged from his mandatory military service today, October 3.

Minhyuk was discharged from the 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi-do. He reunited with his members, including the currently enlisted ones, who came to celebrate his discharge.

Minhyuk also held a live broadcast via YouTube to celebrate with MONBEBEs (MONSTA X fans), who welcomed him back. He read fans’ questions for about an hour, interacted with them, etc.

Minhyuk had gone viral while he was in the military for his physique, as he appeared to have gained weight and grown lots of muscles shortly after joining. MONBEBEs were impressed by his physical transformation.

Yet, during the live broadcast, Minhyuk revealed he had recently dieted. He lost about 5kg (11 lbs).

Later in the live broadcast, Minhyuk answered fans’ questions about his workout and confirmed he plans to keep at it for his health.

Yet, Minhyuk set some boundaries. He revealed that no matter how muscular he gets, he does not intend to expose his body to the fans, although other members do.

But the thing is, guys… Here’s the thing. I know some people who work out like to show off their abs and stuff. But… I don’t plan on doing that. I’m going to keep my body completely hidden. Like, no matter how great of a build I achieve… I don’t think I’ll ever reveal it. Just letting you all know ahead of time!
