Fact Check: Did The Infamous “BLACKPINK Rosé Curse” Affect Halle Bailey And DDG?
BLINKs are familiar with the BLACKPINK “Rosé Curse.” There’s a running “joke” within the BLACKPINK fandom that whenever Rosé takes a photo with a celebrity, they happen to break up with their significant other afterward.

The host then listed the number of celebrities that Rosé took photos with who ended up having breakups, including Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik, Florence Pugh and Zach Graff, and Kendall Jenner and Devin Booker. These are just a few famous examples.
Now, American actress and singer Halle Bailey and American YouTuber and rapper DDG have reportedly broken up after three years of dating and less than a year since the birth of their first child, son Halo.

Some netizens are crediting Rosé for the breakup, as they are resurfacing the ongoing “Rosé Curse” joke. One netizen shared a now-viral post of NewJeans‘ Hanni, Halle Bailey, and Rosé sitting together at an event.

The post garnered 1.1M views at the time of writing. Netizens were shocked to “discover” Hanni and Rosé had been in the same frame.
Yet, it’s not a real photo. It’s edited.
