Recently, K-Pop fans were surprised to discover that the author of an icon series is a K-Pop fan!
In 2008, the first film of the Twilight Saga was released, becoming a cult classic almost immediately. Twilight stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner and tells the story of a human girl who manages to capture the attention of a vampire and the issues their relationship would bring.
The final film was released in 2012, but the series’ popularity actually began in 2005 with the release of Twilight the novel, written by Stephanie Meyer. The 50-year-old writer has published other works, but the Twilight Saga remains her most popular.
In early October, several accounts shared the discovery of something surprising on the author’s personal website. In the bio section, the final paragraph reveals that Meyer’s first love is writing, but that her second love is K-Pop.
Stephenie Meyer graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in English Literature. She splits her time between Arizona and Washington with her husband. Writing is her first love, her second is Kpop.

Even more surprisingly, the author seems to have shared who her favorite group is — TXT! On the same page, there is a drawn TXT lightstick alongside a quote, matching other sketches scattered on her website.
Many netizens were surprised to discover this, especially considering how the quote is connected to TXT!
