BTS’s Jimin One Of Several Celebrities Scammed Due To Top-Star’s Gambling Addiction

Jimin lent him 100 million KRW and was not paid back.

Gagman Lee Jin Ho admitted to a gambling addiction, but he scammed several fellow celebrities in the process, including BTS‘s Jimin.

According to an exclusive report from Tenasia, BTS’s Jimin, Young Tak, and Lee Soo Geun are among the celebrities who were deceived by Lee Jin Ho, lending him money but not getting paid back. Some undisclosed celebrities even filed a complaint against Lee Jin Ho for fraud and demanded garnishing his wages.

Tenasia’s report stated that Jimin lent Lee Jin Ho ₩100 million KRW (about $74,100 USD). Lee Jin Ho borrowed the money from Jimin in 2022, stating he desperately needed money and would pay it back in one week. When Lee Jin Ho did not pay back the money, Jimin even told Lee Jin Ho to pay it back within 10 years instead, despite knowing he would likely not get the money back.

Lee Jin Ho also borrowed money from fellow Knowing Bros cast member Lee Soo Geun, who lent tens of millions of won. He would also name drop Lee Soo Geun when asking others for money, causing headaches and mental stress for Lee Soo Geun, who would pay back the money borrowed by Lee Jin Ho. Young Tak also lent an undisclosed amount of money to Lee Jin Ho and after receiving the money, Lee Jin Ho cut off contact with Young Tak.

Lee Jin Ho’s agency, SM C&C, was aware of Lee Jin Ho’s debt as one person he owed money to even contacted the agency personally. However, they ignored the issue and allowed Lee Jin Ho to continue to appear on his shows. When Tenasia tried to contact SM C&C prior to the release of their article, SM C&C did not offer a statement and ended up cutting contact. Then Lee Jin Ho suddenly shared his statement on his personal Instagram account.

Currently, SM C&C has not released a statement. Knowing Bros has stated they are looking into the situation before making a decision on Lee Jin Ho’s future on their show.
