When Stray Kids’ Bang Chan Got Sentimental While Discussing His “Relationship” With Someone He’s Known A Long Time
Stray Kids‘ Bang Chan loves interacting with fans on his weekly live broadcast of Chan’s Room. In one episode, he proved his commitment to the broadcast by filming inside a car and not in his studio because of his busy schedule.
At the end of his broadcast, a fan teasingly asks Bang Chan to talk about his “relationship scandal,” and Bang Chan doesn’t hold back in his joking reply.
‘Please explain your relationship scandal with Bada (sea in Korean).‘ Oh, this. Right. First of all, I would like to apologize to STAY. You must have been really startled by the news. So I want to apologize for that.

Continuing his joking “apology,” Bang Chan confirms that he’s “in a relationship.”
But I, somehow, ended up in a relationship. I ended up in a relationship.
— Bang Chan
He explains that this “relationship” started with his childhood love.
I actually can’t see them very often. I’ve known them since I was a kid. I’ve actually known them since I was in Australia. Sometimes, they’d follow me around wherever I went. So whenever I saw them, the feeling I used to have would come back to me. It made me go, ‘I can’t live without you.‘ So somehow I fell into a relationship.

Bang Chan “fell in love” again because he saw his childhood love more often.
I fell in love. Well, I’ve been in love for a pretty long time. But lately, my feelings have gotten stronger because I saw them more often.
— Bang Chan
Of course, Bang Chan is simply talking about the sea, which is a place that brings him immense comfort and peace.
I miss the sea. All my thoughts and stress disappear. When I go to the seaside, I feel like all my stress is relieved. For real. It makes me really happy. The ocean is such a gift. I love taking boat rides. I don’t get motion sickness from it. So, when the time allows, I’d like to go on a cruise.
— Bang Chan
And while Bang Chan laughed at fans jokingly changing their names…
‘Everyone, my name is Bada now.‘

He focused on how important the ocean is to him.
But seriously. Seriously. When we were filming our music video for “Time Out,” I really wanted to get in the water. I really wanted to dive into the sea. Really. How is it possible to feel something like that? The sea is a really important place to me.
— Bang Chan
Hopefully Bang Chan will get to spend more time at the ocean soon.
