Jessi Arrives At Police Station For Questioning Following Teenage Fan’s Assault

Jessi appeared at Gangnam police station on October 16 at around 10 PM for questioning related to the viral incident where a teenage fan was allegedly assaulted. The fan, who had approached Jessi for a photo, was reportedly attacked by a man in her group.

After arriving at the station, Jessi briefly addressed the media. Dressed in a zip-up hoodie and black cap she answered some questions from the reporters.

I hope they find the perpetrator ASAP. I hope the perpetrator gets punished. I will tell [the police] everything I know as it happened. It was the first time I saw the attacker that day.

However, she declined to answer further questions about the incident, such as why she didn’t actively intervene during the altercation. After her brief comments, she entered the police station for questioning.

Jessi’s presence at the police station was requested after the incident on September 29. While she was hanging out with friends in the Apujeong area of Gangnam, a male teenage fan approached Jessi for a picture. One of the men who was accompanying Jessi at the time assaulted the fan. The attack was captured on CCTV footage, which has since gone viral.
