Jay Chang is no stranger to survival shows. He even became a member of B.D.U through the reality competition show Build Up: Vocal Boy Group Survival in March 2024. Yet, he grew a significant fanbase through Under Nineteen and Mnet‘s Boys Planet, where he was a fan-favorite. He finished 10th overall, just missing the final lineup of ZEROBASEONE, which debuted with the top nine contestants.
Today, Jay Chang held a live broadcast for fans to celebrate his solo debut anniversary, marking one year since his mini album Late Night.
Jay answered fans’ questions, including one about Boys Planet. The fan asked if he missed it, to which he firmly replied, “Absolutely not.”
Jay revealed he would never want to return to that time as it was the “most difficult time period” of his life. Still, he’s grateful that it occurred because he made lifelong friends and outstanding memories.
