Korean Star's "Obsessive Husband" Behavior Exposed Amid Divorce Scandal

Korean broadcaster Choi Dong Seok is facing renewed scrutiny after past comments made by his ex-wife Park Ji Yoon resurfaced, painting him as an overly controlling husband. As the former couple engages in a legal battle over allegations of infidelity, Park’s statements from several years ago are gaining attention from the media as well as netizens.

Back in 2015, during an appearance on the JTBC show Salon De Histoire, Park Ji Yoon casually mentioned that Choi had joined social media just to monitor her daily life. She explained that she didn’t often call him, which led him to become curious about her whereabouts and activities, prompting him to follow her closely online.

In a separate appearance on SBS Plus’ Veteran Show in 2016, Park again discussed Choi’s behavior, describing how he would be the first to engage with her posts and seemed to always keep an eye on what she was doing. She expressed concern over the level of attention, admitting that while his involvement in her online presence sometimes felt overwhelming, she found it difficult to ignore.

These remarks have resurfaced amid ongoing divorce proceedings between the couple. Dispatch recently reported that both parties have filed lawsuits regarding alleged extramarital affairs, though the accusations are not the primary cause of their separation. According to reports, the couple’s marriage, which began in 2009, deteriorated in recent years, with accusations of surveillance, mistrust, and emotional abuse surfacing.
