BTS’s J-Hope Confirms First Official Activity Since Military Discharge
BTS’s J-Hope has confirmed his first official activity since being discharged from the military.
According to Sports Chosun, J-Hope will make the ceremonial first pitch the second game of the 2024 Korea Series between the KIA Tigers and Samsung Lions.
With his hometown being Gwangju, he has always supported the KIA Tigers.
He will stand on the Champions Field mound five days after his discharge on October 22. J-Hope enlisted in the military last April and was officially discharged on October 17, making this his first official activity since his return.
This is also gaining much attention worldwide as he is the first BTS member to throw an individual pitch in Korea.
Many people are anticipating J-Hope’s pitch because the Korean Series first pitch has been exclusive to presidents, politicians, sports legends, and top entertainers.

However, due to the rain, the recent lineup of idol pitches was canceled or postponed due to the weather. Many wonder whether or not J-Hope will be able to make the first pitch successfully.
