Stray Kids Felix Finally Admits The Truth About How He Joined K-Pop, Years After Fans Were Misinformed

It was widely known by Stray Kids‘ fans previously that Felix was scouted on the streets. Street casting is a popular way for idols to be cast for their visuals. GQ Australia previously reported that he was scouted on the streets of Australia.

Years later, during an interview aired October 22, 2024, fans finally got the truth. Felix himself admitted that he was not scouted on the streets, but through a Facebook DM.

It wasn’t the streets, it was on Facebook. There was a woman that messaged me in the DMs. I was like, ‘oh okay that’s a bit weird,’ but she was asking if I was willing to come for a shooting. That was my thought, ‘stranger danger.’ But the funny thing is, I was actually practicing at a dance academy and then, the boss there was like, ‘I think you should try out.’ So yeah, bye bye Australia. I went to Korea like straightaway, two weeks after.
