Here is SM Entertainment’s full statement:

Hello,
We would like to provide an update on Riku’s health status and upcoming activities.

Riku recently visited the hospital due to ongoing health issues. After undergoing medical tests, the doctors advised him to take ample rest and relaxation. Prioritizing our artist’s health above all, we have made the decision, after careful discussions with Riku, to focus on his treatment and recovery.

As a result, Riku will not be participating in any scheduled activities starting today. We will inform you once it is determined when he can return to his activities.

Therefore, the ‘2024 NCT WISH ASIA TOUR LOG in JAPAN,’ which begins on November 3, will proceed with five members — SION, Yushi, Jaehee, Ryo, and Sakuya. We ask for your understanding and support in this matter.

We sincerely apologize for causing any concern to the fans. Rest assured, we will do our utmost to ensure that Riku can recover fully and reunite with his fans in good health.
