BTS’s Jin Proves He’s A True Friend By Traveling 3 Hours For J-Hope’s Discharge

We all need a Jin in our lives.

On October 17, BTS‘s J-Hope was discharged from the military after finishing his military duties at the 36th Infantry in Wonju, Gangwondo province. Previously, he enlisted last April and served 18 months as an active soldier.

J-Hope became the second BTS member to finish his military duties after eldest member Jin, who was there to greet him. Jin greeted him with a hug and flowers. Jin also garnered attention for his gentlemanly actions toward a reporter.

Now, BANGTANTV released a new video from that day, beginning with Jin in the vehicle on his way to J-Hope’s discharge. He joked that he prepared the large bouquet for J-Hope by adding bubble wrap.

After J-Hope addressed the press, the two left together. Before agreeing to get in one car, Jin teased J-Hope, asking why he had to come all the way there. He claimed he had to travel three hours and likely wasn’t joking. Depending on the method of transportation, the travel time from Seoul to Wonju, Gangwondo province, can vary, though.

Jin proved to be a true friend, though. From wearing his best outfit to traveling a long distance to bringing the biggest gift, he is a real one!
