One of Korea’s most legendary actresses, Kim Soo Mi, has passed away at the age of 75. The cause of her death was reported to be a heart attack.
Kim Soo Mi debuted as an actress in 1970 and became a household name through the 22-year-long K-Drama Country Diaries. Newer Korean entertainment viewers may have seen her in K-Dramas Incarnation of Money or Behind Every Star, or movies Granny’s Got Talent, Mr. Zoo: The Missing VIP, or Late Blossom.
Back in May 2024, she suspended all of her activities in order to focus on her health. May she rest in peace.
