Former LABOUM‘s Yulhee released a bombshell video exposing her ex-husband, F.T. Island’s Minhwan, for allegedly going to adult entertainment establishments, including brothels and karaoke rooms with service girls.
The former idol shared recorded phone calls between Minhwan and his acquaintance, who seems to be his broker for such services.
Minhwan has already received enormous backlash from netizens. He announced he would halt all activities, including the program he appears on with his children. However, it was also announced that he would continue his music activities, which earned him criticism.
On October 25, Lee Hongki seemingly shared a message on Weverse referencing the ongoing scandal.

In his post, he says that what is wrong should be acknowledged, but also states that not everything that is seen should be believed.
On a now viral forum post, netizens discussed his message and were critical over the ambiguity of the message. Many criticized believing the message was defending Minhwan in a way, while others wished he would speak more directly.
