Korean Man Murders Employer By Pouring Boiling Water On Her Due To Unpaid Wages
A horrific murder has happened in Seosan, South Korea, where a local kimbap restaurant owner died after being attacked by one of her employees in what appears to be a dispute over unpaid wages.
The police in Seosan revealed on October 27 that they had arrested a male employee, referred to as “A” and in his 50s, under suspicion of assault resulting in death.
The assault occurred on October 11 around 10:30 AM at the restaurant where both “A” and the owner (referred to as “B”) worked together. During the confrontation, A reportedly assaulted B and, in a shocking moment, doused her with boiling water. B was quickly taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment but succumbed to her injuries nearly two weeks later, on October 24.
According to police statements, A explained his actions by claiming he was angered over unpaid wages, which he had allegedly asked for on the day of the attack. When B reportedly denied his request, A said he acted out of anger.
Police are conducting further investigations to uncover the full details of the crime.
