“PRODUCE 48” Contestant-Turned-Model Confirmed To Be Dating Rock Band DICKPUNKS Member

On October 29, 2024 (KST), Korean news outlets reported that Choi Yeonsoo—best known for her appearance as a contestant on the show PRODUCE 48—is dating Kim Taehyun, a Korean rock band vocalist 12 years older than her.

Choi Yeonsoo, also known as the daughter of the Culinary Class Wars star chef Choi Hyun Seok, is now a model signed with KPLUS.

Kim Taehyun debuted as the vocalist of the Korean rock band DICKPUNKS in 2010. He rose to stardom when he appeared on Mnet‘s Superstar K Season 4 in 2012 and finished as a runner-up.

Both Choi Yeonsoo and Kim Taehyun confirmed via their management companies that the two are indeed in a serious relationship, set to get married. Kim Taehyun also took to the band’s official fan cafe and left a message asking for his fans’ blessing.

Hello, this is Kim Taehyun. I wanted to be the first to share this news with you, but I’m worried you might have been caught off guard hearing it through articles instead.

As I’ve been part of the band DICKPUNKS for nearly 20 years, I often think about whether I could have lived well without this team and all of you.
