Viral Cover Of BLACKPINK Rosé’s “APT.” Shocks With An Uncanny Resemblance To The Idol
A viral cover of BLACKPINK Rosé‘s new song has netizens doing a double-take.
Recently, Rosé made history with her new song “APT.” that she released with Bruno Mars.
Recently, a video posted on October 29 is going viral with over 1.7 million views and from the get-go, netizens thought someone had just re-uploaded the original version.
In fact, it was actually comedian Eom Ji Yoon who channeled her inner idol to become Rosé, which was more visible in the actual video but still seemed very similar to the OG. Gwak Beom played the role of Bruno Mars.
When the video was posted, netizens actually had to do a double take as many thought it was actually Rosé, joking that they thought the channel had illegally uploaded the song on their channel rather than it being an actual cover.
- “They’re so good! LOL.”
- “Spot on!”
- “OMG, I saw it pop up on YouTube too, but I thought it was just a music video thumbnail and skipped it. LOL!”
- “Wow, how did they make it so good? The quality’s amazing! Haha.”
- “I saw it through my algorithm too. LOL They really nailed it!”
- “Wait, I thought the screenshot was Eom Ji Yoon, but the video was Rosé. Just glanced at the thumbnail and thought it was Rosé’s music video! LOLLLLLLLLL.”
