EXO’s Baekhyun Pitched Against BTS’s Jungkook In Newly-Leaked HYBE Document

Among the wild claims made in the leaked internal document, HYBE also made a direct comparison between EXO‘s Baekhyun and their own BTS‘s Jungkook.
A July 26, 2023 “report” included gossip about EXO’s group activities and Baekhyun’s individual activities. One section mentioned Baekhyun’s 7 AM live broadcast, held on July 21, 2023, in which he went through a stretching routine in his PJs.
The document accused Baekhyun of being “desperate” and then compared the “overly-casual” vibe of the live broadcast to Jungkook’s—also held at 7 AM, but earlier in June 2023.
It might be because EXO wasn’t able to come back as strongly as he hoped, and/or perhaps because he can’t help but notice his own position is becoming unstable. But he seems to be feeling a bit desperate. He even went live on Instagram at 7 AM to show fans his morning stretching routine with a foam roller. While he has always been good at communicating with fans, showcasing such an overly-casual side makes it hard to say he hasn’t been influenced by Jungkook.

As screenshots of the section spread online, both EXO and BTS fans could not help but express absolute confusion at HYBE’s take on the harmless stretching live.
