While some NCTzens are excited, the announcement has triggered divided reactions.

Many agree the timing is terrible. As usual, NCTzens wonder how Mark can handle another schedule when he’s already booked and busy. The tour is clashing with his solo comeback.

Additionally, the group will be significantly smaller than NCTzens are historically used to.

Recently, now former member Taeil’s contract was terminated, as he was charged with rape. Additionally, two members are currently fulfilling their mandatory military service. Taeyong enlisted in April, while Jaehyun just left for the military on November 4.

NCTzens couldn’t think of a worst time to announce a world tour for NCT 127, as SM Entertainment shared the news the same day as Jaehyun’s enlistment. Yet, the name choice was even more distasteful considering the circumstances.

Additionally, some are planning to boycott as part of a current boycott of SM Entertainment in response to the departure of RIIZE‘s Seunghan.
