American Woman’s Shocking Story Of Being Asked For A “Threesome” By A Korean Man Is Going Viral
A video featuring an American tourist’s alarming encounter in Korea has gained significant attention on YouTube, sparking debate and drawing a wave of reactions.
The video was shared on the ‘IamfromKorea’ channel, a platform known for its street interviews with international visitors to discuss their views and experiences in the country. With nearly half a million subscribers, the channel focuses on showing various perspectives about life in Korea.
In the video, the YouTuber asked the visitor (referred to as A) to share the most surprising thing she had experienced during her stay. “A” recounted an incident where she and her friend (also a foreigner) were standing on a street on board daylight when a Korean man approached them after coming down from a second-floor apartment.
According to A, the man made a comment beginning with “three of us (…),” with part of his words being censored in the video. Context suggested that he was making an inappropriate proposal. The woman claimed he had asked to have a threesome while pointing at the two girls and himself and holding three fingers up.
A explained that she and her friend were so shocked by the situation that they quickly walked away. When the YouTuber asked if the conversation was in English or Korean, A confirmed that it was in Korean. To illustrate her point, she showed the YouTuber three fingers, implying she believed the man’s intention was to propose a threesome.
The YouTuber suggested that it could have been a misunderstanding, perhaps an invitation to have lunch together. While A acknowledged this as a potential explanation, she remained doubtful. She shared that such an incident would be unheard of in her conservative hometown in the U.S., which reinforced her suspicion of the man’s intentions.
