Popular Singer Calls Out Her Agency For Refusing To Hand Over Gifts From Her Fans
Singer-songwriter Juniel recently called out her agency for their insensitive handling of fan-sent gifts for her.
On November 5, KST, the singer uploaded a lengthy post detailing her grievance. She revealed that two years ago, when she released a song called “Dear” in celebration of her tenth debut anniversary, her agency proposed that they use real gifts and letters sent by fans as props in the music video. Juniel agreed and handed over the gifts she had displayed in her home.
It has been two years since the song was released, and Juniel claims that the agency has yet to return any of the items they borrowed for the music video. Every time she asked for those gifts back, they only offered excuses.
I have asked the company dozens of times to return all the drawings, photos, letters, and gifts that my fans gave me, but they only say that they’ve it all organized. Since the person in charge keeps changing, they say it’s their first time hearing about it and that they need to confirm things, or they claim that the items are in multiple locations and they’re too busy to go pick it up, and for all these reasons, I haven’t been able to get anything back.

The singer added that the company recently told her they left some of the items behind while shifting offices.
When I asked again yesterday, I was told that the company had moved and so, for various other reasons, they couldn’t pack everything with them. They couldn’t bring all the items.

Juniel called out her agency’s conflicting statements, pointing out that they initially claimed all the items were organized in a box, and hence, it would have been very easy to bring them all to the new office while shifting. She admitted regretting her decision to let the company use the gifts that hold so much sentimental value for her. “If there is even one item lost, I wouldn’t know what to do with the guilt toward the fan who gifted it to me,” she stated.
After this post caused a stir online, Juniel’s agency, K-Tigers Entertainment, dodged questions from media outlets about this.
Meanwhile, Juniel debuted in 2012 with the song “Illa Illa,” which gained her immediate popularity. She signed with her current agency in 2022.
