Disgraced Former Idol Go Young Wook Claims To Have Inspired G-Dragon
Former Roo’Ra member and convicted sex offender Go Young Wook has once again angered netizens, this time by claiming that BIGBANG’s G-Dragon was inspired by his fashion choices.
G-Dragon is easily recognized as one of the earliest and most fashion-forward idols in the industry. One of his many signature styling items includes a headscarf.
But according to Go, he did it first. On November 6, the disgraced idol took to social media, referencing G-Dragon. He wrote, “I was ahead of my time,” claiming that the BIGBANG rapper was probably inspired to wear headscarves after seeing him style them.
Are headscarves trending again these days? I used to wear a lot of headscarves. Did I inspire Jiyong (G-Dragon) when he was 7 years old during my Roo’Ra days? I was quite ahead of my times.

Go also shared a picture of him wearing a headscarf along with a recent photo of G-Dragon wearing one at Incheon International Airport.
Needless to say, nobody is happy with Go trying to associate himself with G-Dragon in this manner. But this is not his first time mentioning the idol on his social media. A few weeks ago, Go was reminiscing about his past memories with G-Dragon while he was a member of Little Roo’Ra and shared a picture of them together.
