6 Things You Have To Do Before Becoming A K-Pop Trainee

An ex-trainee spills the process.

There are many rigorous tasks aspiring K-Pop trainees must do before they can begin practicing, especially if they are from a foreign country. An ex-trainee recently spilled the 6 things she did before becoming a trainee.

1. Audition — and pass!

Obviously, the first step is to pass your audition. You may have to go through multiple rounds.

2. Sign any necessary contracts and paperwork

Next, it’s time to sign a contract and an NDA. Minors have to sign additional paperwork.

3. Take the required psychological exams

Then, you will be sent over a variety of psychological and personality tests that will assess all kinds of information.

Some of the tests may include and MBTI test, a psychological well-being test, and even a 500-word sociopath test.

4. If you’re a foreigner, get a Visa

The company will handle most of this and all you have to do is pick it up.

5. Make the big trip to Korea

Finally, it’s time to go to Korea! The company may pay for your flight.

6. Get your foreigner ID card

Lastly, make sure to get your foreigner ID card. Typically, the company will do this for you.

After that, you’re all set! Watch the full video below to learn about each step more in depth.
