5th Gen Idol Causes Alarm After Deleting All Posts And Unfollowing Her Company
Recently, MADEIN‘s Gaeun has sparked concern amongst the group’s fans.
Gaeun originally debuted as a member of LIMELIGHT in February 2023. The three-membered girl group promoted as such until the following January when it was announced the group would be reformatting.
Additional members were added, including former Kep1er members Mashiro and Yeseo, and the group was re-debuted in September 2024 as MADEIN.
On November 10, fans noticed that the idol had removed the posts from her Instagram account, leaving it empty. She also removed MADEIN from her bio on her account.
It was also noted that her number of people followed dropped by two, with it said that she unfollowed 143 Entertainment and the company’s CEO. Of the group’s members, she is currently the only one who does not follow those accounts that have followed others.
Some groups’ social media activity can reveal signs of a member’s departure or issues with a company, and this is especially true for groups under smaller companies.
Fans have offered support for the idol, despite their concerns and worries being mixed with confusion over the situation.
