The 2024 Busan Fireworks Festival, held on November 9, KST, was reportedly ruined due to an unexpected technical failure caused by three teenagers’ unauthorized entry into the control room. According to the organizing committee, the teens entered the control room and touched a cable connected to light controls on the Gwangandaegyo bridge while being escorted out by security. It led to a communications error that the organizers were unable to fix during the show.

The incident has left the organizers flustered, as they were unable to quickly fix the situation. Committee officials have vowed to prepare backup solutions for next year’s event.
