KATSEYE Member Reveals The Negative Impact Of The Group’s Controversial Netflix Docuseries
KATSEYE have taken over and stolen the hearts of fans.
Yet, when Netflix aired the documentary Pop Star Academy, it garnered a lot of mixed reactions and many of the contestants (and members who debuted) faced criticism for their behavior.
After it aired, the members had to address the controversial show on several occasions.
Recently, member Lara shared the impact of the documentary.
KATSEYE released a new, short docuseries following their shows in Asia, and in one of the videos looking at their trip to Japan, Lara spoke honestly about her feelings. The idol explained that while she was enjoying the Asia trip, it was bittersweet.
She explained how social media had been affecting her.
Social media can be an awful place, and Lara revealed she got a lot of hate, adding that it seemed extra bad since the documentary came out.
On the day of their show in the Philippines, Lara revealed she had broken down.
It was even worse as the idol said she had received death threats, but the show made her feel happy.
