Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon Puts SM Entertainment On Blast
Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon recently made a comeback with “Letter To Myself.”
It seems like many fans were disappointed with the lack of promotions for this comeback. Previously, Taeyeon’s comebacks had been supported with physical pop-up stores, variety show appearances, live singing YouTube channels, digital promotions, and more.
"how did we even make it to 30th anniversary?"

Taeyeon took to her fan-messaging subscription service to explain the lack of activities for this round. She openly criticized the company.
The communication with my management was not smooth this time, so there were some mistakes in carrying out the release promotions. They needed to have promoted it well before the album is released. I’m also really sad that time was wasted like this. I’m sorry to the fans too. It’s late, but we are working hard in order to see what promotions we can do even now. I’m sorry for being unable to satisfy all the needs of the fans today. I’m so upset.
— Taeyeon
Although her album is already out, many are hopeful that she will get to promote her comeback sufficiently now that she has spoken up.
