“Penthouse” Actress Gets Totally Wasted On Set, Triggers Divided Reactions
The latest episode of comedian Shin Dong Yup‘s “Zzanbro” YouTube show, featuring the leads of the KBS K-Drama Face Me, has since caused a deep divide in viewer reactions.
Actress Han Ji Hyun, whose rise to fame came with her role as Seok Kyung in the hit K-Drama Penthouse and her latest work No Gain No Love, appeared alongside male lead actor Lee Min Ki. The show started off mellow, with the leads talking about their new show…
…it soon led to Han getting drunk off wine.
Throughout the episode, Han showed off her brightness, but it was after some wine that her excitement spiked through the roof.
At one point, Han was spotted talking to a camera, praising her own gorgeousness.

After the episode aired, viewers shared their thoughts about Han’s behavior on the show. Some liked how “down to earth” and “real” Han was, unafraid to be herself and show her quirks.
- “This is Ji Hyun’s high school homeroom teacher. She was such a good student, diligent and proactive. I still remember the way she posed in our class photo when we went on a field trip. I wish her all the best.”

Others criticized the actress for being “cringe” and “getting out of control.”

Some viewers even called out the production staff for embarrassing the actress, not editing out the moments when it was obvious that she was wasted and, perhaps, vulnerable.

Han did take to her Instagram and, while admitting that she doesn’t remember what happened, she had fun and that she hopes viewers also have fun watching, too.
