ILLIT’s Yunah Faces Backlash After Mentioning An SM Idol
On November 19, ILLIT appeared on Vogue Korea’s YouTube channel to share what was in their bags.
The members introduced various items in their bags, from an unused diary to spicy ramen and even corn.
When it was member Yunah’s turn, she shared her perfume that was seen without a cap.
I carry perfume with me, and I carry it around so much that I lost the cap.

In particular, she took out a doll and stated it was Red Velvet Seulgi’s official merchandise.
I really love Red Velvet’s Seulgi. This is official merchandise from her. I don’t know if she will see this, but if we ever have promotions that overlap, I would love to film a dance challenge together and exchange numbers.

However, netizens expressed a negative response to Yuna mentioning an SM idol.
- “Their agency has done things to SM idols and yet they are so shameless.”
- “Their agency is really using these young girls to shield them. Regardless of whether talking about other idols was planned or not, they still left it in the video even though the media is negative towards it.”
- “I don’t know if it’s because their agency really did something, but mentioning them and even requesting to do a dance challenge seems so shameless..”
- “Why are they trying to involve them…leave SM alone.”
- “It’s so annoying to see this company use the young girls as shields.”
- “Please read the room.”
- “They keep mentioning it in other interviews..stop trying to involve them.”
- “Why is this group continuing to do things the public dislikes…”
- “Please stop this….”
- “Another mentioned TWICE before and now it’s Red Velvet. If you are a real fan stop mentioning them.”
- “This has to be scripted, right?”
- “I heard Yuna has always liked Red Velvet in another video…the group is likable but…”
