When asked how it feels to always be known as “Lee Hyori’s husband,” he gave his honest opinion.
I don’t hate being called ‘Lee Hyori’s husband’ because, of course, I am her husband. I think it’s natural for it to happen because she is a well-known superstar, and I am not offended at all. I was a musician before meeting Hyori so my identity is a musician. Being her husband can’t be my job, I am just her husband.

Back in 2022, a Korean politician criticized the couple for opening a cafe on Jeju Island. However, her husband released a statement that he was the sole owner of the cafe.
