Idol Trainee Gets Severely Punished By Survival Show Following Cheating Allegations

An idol trainee has received a severe punishment from a survival show after his alleged girlfriend accused him of cheating with multiple women.

Lin Tzuchen, a participant on the idol survival show SCOOL, was recently accused of being a cheater with the release of chat logs between him and his alleged girlfriend.

While Tzuchen has yet to respond publicly on the matter, the agency behind SCOOL‘s production promptly issued an official statement.

“Recently, the issues with participant Lin Tzuchen’s private relationships garnered much attention. We feel deeply regretful. As an audition show focusing on developing new artists, SCOOL maintains core values of professionalism, fairness, and social responsibility. After deep discussions and careful consideration between the production team and other parties, to respect the crew’s teamwork and fairness, Lin Tzuchen will take part in the finale and fan concert with other participants. However, he will no longer be part of the actual competition and the debut voting. He will not be fighting for a debut spot.

We believe that artists, besides having professional skills, must be role models for the public and build a positive image for their fans and society. As SCOOL aims to educate and develop qualified idols, in addition to capabilities and stage charisma, they must possess the character and qualities of being a public figure.
