In the months after being discharged from the army, Jin has been doing everything and anything to interact with fans. On November 24, Jin had a fan event for 50 fans at Lotte World Theme Park in South Korea, where they would get to ride the Merry Go-Round with him!

Yet, netizens noticed that hours after the event, they were already seeing the signed albums Jin had gifted to ARMYs being sold, including one for ₩350,000 KRW (about $249 USD).
Netizens shared their anger that Jin’s kind nature was being taken advantage of.

The poor kid went through all that trouble, even taking motion sickness medicine, to open the event and get that autograph, and now you’re selling it?

If you’re so broke that you’d sell this, just give up on life already.

Following the event, Jin wanted to chat with more ARMYs as he had a fan call event. Netizens brought up that it seemed unfair that they saw some select ARMYs had interacted with Jin twice, at Lotte World and through the fan call, especially as the point was seemingly for the idol to meet as many fans as possible.
