NewJeans’ Early Contract Termination Fee Estimated To Be At Least 300 Billion KRW
On November 28, NewJeans held an emergency press conference regarding their contracts with ADOR.
The members revealed that they were officially going to leave ADOR.
Of course, the topic of penalties came up, and Haerin acknowledged that she had seen the articles and reports about the amount of money they would reportedly have to pay.
She explained, “I’ve read several articles about penalties, but we have not violated our exclusive contract. We’ve worked hard and done our best so far, so we believe there’s no reason for us to pay any penalties.”
Haerin then added that she thought HYBE and ADOR breached their contract and that they should take responsibility, inferring that the companies should pay the fee rather than the group.
