(G)I-DLE’s Soyeon Confirms All Members Have Renewed Their Contracts With Cube Entertainment

All members of (G)I-DLE have decided to continue together as a group under Cube Entertainment.

As the group neared the end of their exclusive contract, there have been speculations of the members, especially their leader, Soyeon, leaving Cube Entertainment. As a result, fans have been worried about the uncertain future of the group for a while.

But Soyeon herself put all speculations to rest at the 2024 Melon Music Awards. On November 30, KST, (G)I-DLE bagged one of the four Daesang Awards at the MMAs, the Record of the Year award.

While giving her acceptance speech, Soyeon addressed the rumors of her contract renewal with Cube Entertainment and confirmed that not only her, but all five of them have decided to remain with their current agency.

There have been many articles about my contract [with the company] expiring which would lead to (G)I-DLE disbanding. But I can tell you that not just myself, but all five of us have renewed our contracts.

She continued to reassure fans of (G)I-DLE’s deep bond and unshakable future plans.

We talked about this [with the company] before coming up on this stage today. Whether it’s next year or the year after, the five of us will be together for the rest of our lives, so please don’t worry. We will repay everyone with good music next year.
