A.C.E’s Donghoon To Undergo Surgery Following Health Complications

A.C.E’s Donghoon will temporarily step back from group activities due to health problems. On December 11 his agency BEAT Interactive shared an official statement on the group’s X (formerly known as Twitter) account confirming that Donghoon has been diagnosed with acute cholecystitis and requires surgery.

The agency revealed that Donghoon had been experiencing persistent digestive issues, leading him to seek medical consultation. When his symptoms did not improve, further tests were conducted, which identified the condition as acute cholecystitis. Doctors have recommended immediate surgery, followed by sufficient rest and recovery time.

As a result, Donghoon will be unable to participate in several upcoming group activities. BEAT Interactive emphasized their focus on his well-being, stating that they had consulted thoroughly with both Donghoon and medical professionals to determine his capacity to fulfill commitments prior to the surgery. While a few schedules will proceed as planned, adjustments have been made to prioritize his recovery.
