BTS Performance Director’s Treatment Of KATSEYE’s Yoonchae Gains Attention
KATSEYE Yoonchae‘s interaction with BTS‘s performance director has gained attention.
One person who has helped KATSEYE is BTS’s performance director Son Sung Deuk.
He appeared during the Netflix documentary series Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE.
Recently, KATSEYE performed at the 2024 MAMA Awards in LA.
On December 10, behind-the-scenes footage was posted from the performance. At one point, Yoonchae was figuring out the most effective way to take her varsity jacket off, and Son Sung Deuk was watching. She seemingly struggled to get it off in the allotted time.
Son Sung Deuk then tried to help Yoonchae find ways to get it off quicker, thinking aloud of ways that could make it easier.
He then even looked at the sleeves closely to see if any alterations could be made, relaying the information to staff but keeping Yoonchae involved.
When the video was posted, netizens loved how Son Sung Deuk seemed like a “father” figure to Yoonchae, similar to how he treated BTS. Many also added that with him helping the group with their performances, it isn’t surprising that they always have the best concepts and slay the stage.
