As for her most memorable moment during BLACKPINK promotions, she chose none other than performing at Coachella as the first Korean girl group in 2019.
“I was so nervous. Coachella is known to be a festival where many music lovers come, and I thought we might not get much love if we went. No Korean girl group has ever performed at this festival, so I worried people wouldn’t come to see us.
In my hotel room, I imagined the worst-case scenario and thought, ‘Even if there are 30 people out there, just have fun.’”

However, things turned out much differently.
I got goosebumps when we went on stage after the intro. I was confused as to whether all these people were here to see us perform. I couldn’t believe it was a full audience all the way until the end. I remember looking out at this while performing on stage.
