Fans Angered After aespa Victim To “Malicious Prank”
Fans of aespa are outraged following recent events.
Aespa is currently in China for a fan sign event and have unfortunately run into issues during their time there. Winter was attacked with curses and threats as the group entered their hotel, and the group’s security was forced to physically hold an individual back.

However, during the event, an attendee seemingly crossed the stage and set off a party popper. The group were obviously surprised as the person ran off the stage uninterrupted.
While this prank did not seemingly injure the group, fans expressed concern over how the person could get so close to the group. Fans also commented on the fact that the group’s security did not move toward the individual, which, after the recent events involving Winter, could pose an issue.

I'm glad it was just an idiot man with confetti, but if that was something that could hurt them? Wasn't there a security guard or manager to check the pockets and bags of the people who were there, especially after what happened?
