Where Is He Now? The Actor On The Run For Years After Committing Murder
An actor has been on the run for years after murdering someone and receiving a sentence of 17 years.
To help his family’s financial situation, Wang Hsin I debuted as a child actor when he was just 7 years old.
Since then, he’s appeared in over 60 dramas in Taiwan. In 2008, he was even nominated for the Golden Bell Awards as the Best Male Supporting Actor.
However, reportedly, throughout his career as a child actor, Wang Hsin I was used by his parents merely as a cash cow. He was mainly raised by his grandmother.
His life then took an abrupt turn when his grandmother passed away while he was in high school. He allegedly started skipping classes and eventually dropped out as he joined a gang.
In 2016, Wang Hsin I, his brother, and his friend took bats and knives and murdered a 14-year-old boy Qu in a drug deal gone wrong. His friend stabbed Qu while he used a bat to beat Qu’s head several times. Qu eventually passed away after spending more than half a year in the hospital.
Wang Hsin I was initially sentenced to 15 years in prison, which was later changed to 17 years. However, during the legal proceedings, he jumped bail and has never been found again.
Earlier this year, the Supreme Prosecutors Office in Taiwan put Wang Hsin I on the top 10 most wanted list.
According to the list, he’s seen as a dangerous threat to society and believed to have escaped to Shanghai. However, his exact whereabouts are unknown at this time.
