TREASURE Fans Get Criticized After Trying To Crowd Fund For Their Trip To See A Concert
A group of TREASURE fans recently gained attention on X after posting about a fundraiser for the group to attend a concert. The group of 15 Teumes reside in the U.S, and expressed their wishes to raise enough money to travel to the designated cities and grab tickets to the show.
It was a huge deal for them as TREASURE would be taking their tour to the U.S for the first time ever.
While the fundraiser’s post was extremely polite and humble, other fans on X did not take to it kindly. They were perplexed at the idea of a fundraiser for concert tickets and travel.

Some wondered about the logic behind the posting.
Bring back shaming cause folks too comfortable with asking for shit on the internet🤨 https://t.co/F985k53BiY

Others were more understanding and likened it to gifting a friend a ticket.
If I had money to spare/if I were rich, I would've donated to be honest, at least if I know that fellow fans are broke and really want an album/ticket. 6000$ for 15 people isn't even much if you consider tickets+travel. It's not that different from gifting a ticket to a friend https://t.co/eUpK4i3UPs

Another called one of the posters out for buying $162 worth in clothes rather than putting the money towards concert funds. At $6000 for 15 people, it comes to $400 per person. $162 would definitely go far for them.
maybe this sounds harsh but how is it other people’s problem that you don’t have your own expenses to see your faves live but then spend $162 on clothes ??? https://t.co/l1yER2kBOF pic.twitter.com/Yk3Gf9xKt1

Fellow fans even compared them to those who beg on the streets for money to travel.

The Teume who kickstarted the fundraiser has since set her account to private following the heavy backlash.
