SF9’s Zuho Calls Out Hate Directed At His Members, Including Rowoon

He defended all nine members!

FNC Entertainment has been criticized for mismanaging groups such as SF9. Over the past few months, the agency’s treatment of Zuho has especially sparked fury among fans.

In 2023, it was announced that Zuho would no longer be signed under FNC Entertainment for his solo schedules. At the time, the company reassured fans that it wouldn’t impact his role in the group. Yet, that has not been the case. Initially, FNC Entertainment began removing Zuho’s facial recognition, meaning he couldn’t access the building. They also stopped his access to the group’s YouTube channel, which was the only way the members could do live broadcasts with fans.

Fans also noticed that Zuho was no longer mentioned in the content and that his birthday wasn’t celebrated. Then, when the comeback, “Don’t Worry, Be Happy,” was announced to include only five members, fans were alarmed. While Dawon and Jaeyoon‘s omission due to military enlistment was expected, the lack of information about Zuho’s absence was infuriating for many. Additionally, Zuho’s Instagram update following the announcement seemingly revealed his frustration.

Again, when it was announced that SF9 would be doing a special event to celebrate their 8th anniversary, only six members would participate, as Zuho was left out. These are just a couple of examples.

Now, Zuho has held a live broadcast, addressing some recent controversies and criticism surrounding SF9.

Zuho explained some of what’s happened since Kingdom: Legendary War, emphasizing that none of the members are at fault and that the problems are not related to anyone’s personal decisions. He asked fans not to blame any members, including Rowoon, who has received hate since his departure. Zuho reiterated that SF9 is always nine members and hopes for a full group reunion one day.

It’s tiring, right? Must be tiring. I’d be exhausted if I were you. You all have you own lives to live and yet you still support and want to protect us. And now there’s a problem within the group. Must be really hard for you. I don’t want to be like, ‘It’s hard for us, too.’ But it really is not easy for us either.

— Zuho

He also asked fans, Fantasy, not to fight with each other. Fans commended Zuho for his live broadcast and praised him for standing up for himself and his members.
