Many K-Pop fans dream of meeting their idols in public, and one lucky fan got to do just that!

On December 27, an X user posted a video and message online, sharing her experience bumping into her bias on the street.

“What are the chances of meeting a celebrity on the street that happens to be your ultimate bias?

I saw NCT’s Jaemin last night in Apgujeong. I was walking on the street with my friend, looking at my phone, when I thought I heard Jaemin’s voice. A guy was wearing all black, along with a hat and a mask, that looked just like Jaemin standing right in front of me.”

The fan gave a more detailed explanation of the experience.

“I was walking with my friend when I saw Jaemin talking with an acquaintance right in front of me. They also happened to walk towards the same restaurant that we were going to, and I thought this might be a once-in-a-lifetime chance, so I went up to him.

He greeted me sweetly, and when I asked for a photo, his acquaintance said, ‘Hm..is this okay to do?’ But Jaemin answered, ‘Yes, it’s fine. Let’s take it now.’ So we took a photo.

His acquaintance said to take the photo outside by the street just in case the place he was at would be exposed.”

Jaemin even asked her how he recognized him, in which she answered, ”I could tell it was you just by listening to your voice.”

She also shared that the acquaintance who was with Jaemin paid for her and her friend’s taxi ride home.

Suddenly, the acquaintance with Jaemin gave us cash and paid for our taxi. They said, ‘It’s cold, so take the taxi home,’ we were shocked because we wondered if it’s ok to receive money when meeting a celebrity. We couldn’t even refuse, so we just took it and said thank you. We felt a bit bad…I couldn’t believe this type of miracle happened to me…
