Though the clip was barely ten seconds long, it reflected his extensive dance background. Rui, who was a former participant in the reality survival show Boys Planet, was well-known for his impressive skills in modern dancing, ballet, and traditional Chinese dance. He has been training in different dance forms since he was just three!

Rui’s clip went viral on X almost immediately and has garnered over 2.5 million views at the time of writing. Netizens got intrigued to learn more about his group, XLOV, leading to fans celebrating the group leaving “nugudom” within days of debuting.

The fact that XLOV’s debut song was produced by another member, Wumuti, and the group’s “genderless” concept have drawn even more interest of non-fans to the group. It’s safe to say that many are now looking forward to what comes next from this exceptionally talented quartet.
