NewJeans’ Iconic Performance Directors Announce Their Resignation From HYBE With Cryptic Memes

NewJeans’ performance directors Jei Kim and BLACK Q have resigned from HYBE. They were previously employed under HYBE as choreographers and performance directors for ADOR. They created all of NewJeans’ iconic choreographies.

As of January 10, 2025, they both have left the company. Jei Kim posted a meme with the words “well then, I’ll be taking my leave… *scurries away*”

With that, the two will now enter the free agent market, where they are free to work with any group they want to. Previously, they were both exclusively tied to ADOR and HYBE.
