25 Year Old Idol Debuts In 5th Generation Girl Group 

KANDIS, a brand new 5th generation K-Pop girl group under 60DGRS, has officially launched with their first full album, Playground, on January 14, 2025. The group is comprised of members Hello, Nine, Venny, and Looky.

They have been steadily building anticipation since their pre-debut activities. the quartet initially gained attention with their mixtape Show Me Your Vibe in March 2022 and made an initial splash as a duo with their single “BF” in August 2023.

Among the group’s members, Hello has particularly stood out, not only for her unique stage name but also due to her age. At 25, Hello’s debut breaks the norm in an industry where stars typically debut as young teenagers, especially in the newer generation of K-Pop. Hello, born on June 22, 1999, serves as the group’s leader and vocalist. She has an impressive history in the entertainment world. She first caught attention when she was introduced as a member of KANDIS on January 1, 2022, with a soulful cover of Taeyeon’s “All About You.”

Before joining 60DGRS, Hello participated in the survival show MIXNINE, where she ranked #15. She also trained under Mystic Story from 2017 to 2019 and showcased her talents during JYP Entertainment’s 13th Open Audition in the Group and Solo Vocal categories. Additionally, she appeared in the web drama Luv Pub and graduated from the renowned Hanlim Multi Arts School.
