SEVENTEEN Vernon’s Dramatic Buzzcut Transformation Comes With Divided Reactions

His new look was debuted in the Philippines.

At SEVENTEEN‘s Philippines leg of their “Right Here World Tour,” member Vernon threw Carats into a frenzied panic debuting his fresh buzzcut.

After having talked about wanting to shave his head for a while…

I really, genuinely want to shave my head. But I feel like doing so would affect everyone, so I haven’t been able to do so.

— Vernon

…it seems Vernon caved and gave himself what his heart desired!

That said, photos and videos of his dramatic buzzcut transformation have brought a flood of divided reactions from K-Pop fans online.

Some found it to be a whole look, while others didn’t think it looked too flattering on the idol. A handful of fans wondered if the buzzcut, often chosen right before enlistment, might hint at Vernon’s upcoming military duty.
